My story Six years ago I did not believe in hypnotherapy. I was sceptical. Then, after being treated for pre-cancerous cells and contracting Bells palsy, in utter desperation I let my mother (Dr Jean Pain) practise hypnosis on me. I was instantly converted. I got better. I decided that there was more to hypno-psychotherapy than meets the eye, and embarked on a three-year training course, graduating in 2002. I studied with The Open University concurrently, graduating with a Psychology Honours Degree in 2003. |
